This whisky was made from our beechwood smoked malt and has matured on a palo cortado octave for 3½ years, resulting in an enticing aromatic composition of dried fruits, nuts, sweet malt, Mint, Herbs and Smoke.

Special Appapping to the Whiskey Fair in Kolding 2024

For the whiskey fair in 2024 we have selected a very special cask No 474, which we release as a Distillery Edition at the festival on March 6th.

the whisky is bottled From a single 1st Fill Palo Cortado cask Filled with the distillate from the first experiments with cold smoking in our own malt drums by 2020. The smoke is smoldering and warm and after 3½ years plays very well with the aromatic, sweet sherry cask.

The result is a alluring composition of dried fruits, dark berries, nuts, sweet malt, mint, herbs and bonfires.

The Palo Cortado dishes are still rare in our warehouse, But have won our hearts. This is the first time we are tapping whisky with beechwood smoke From this Fadtype
