Price and payment

In this shop you can order your goods online and pay with Danish and foreign payment cards and MobilePay. All prices include VAT. Payment is taken on the day the goods are dispatched or when your order is confirmed by email.

Ordering

Your order will only be completed when you click on "Complete payment". If you leave the page before then, the purchase transaction is not complete. The system will send you an order summary on the e-mail you provided. Once your order is processed and ready to be shipped, you will receive another electronic message with shipping information. Your order is finally confirmed and completed upon receipt of this email.

Delivery and transport

Delivery of goods from Thy Whisky is considered to have taken place when the customer has received the goods. All orders are shipped by GLS or Postnord, unless otherwise agreed separately between the buyer and Thy Whisky. The price of shipping is calculated at checkout. For orders to be delivered within Denmark, shipping is free from DKK 699. For deliveries to foreign countries, shipping will be charged depending on the country of destination.

The goods are shipped – as far as possible – within 3 business days after confirmation of the order. Delivery to the buyer's address in Denmark will therefore normally take place within 5 business days. The stated delivery time is indicative and may vary.

Risk of the goods

The risk for goods ordered in Thy Whisky webshop is transferred to you as consumer at the time of delivery.

Right of withdrawal

Thy Whisky grants 14 days right of withdrawal, valid from the day you receive the goods. If you cancel the purchase, Thy Whisky must be notified within 14 days after the day you received the goods. However, for private casks and cask shares, the right of withdrawal expires on the day the cask is filled. The notification must be given to info@thy-whisky.dk or by phone +45 69 89 90 01. In your message, you must clearly inform us that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.

You can cancel a purchase either by refusing to receive the goods, by handing the goods over to the postal service, or by returning the goods to the address provided. Whichever method you use, please let us know.

Returns

You are obliged to return the goods in substantially the same condition and quantity as received. This also applies to the packaging and information labels on the goods. When returning the goods, you are responsible for ensuring that they are properly packed. Sealed goods must therefore be returned with the seal intact. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods. If an item's receipt is refused or is not collected at a parcel shop, Thy Whisky ApS reserves the right to refund the purchase price less the cost of freight from the customer.

We will make the refund using the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods.

Complaints

When you buy goods from Thy Whisky ApS, you have a 24-month right of complaint. This means that you can generally have the goods repaired, exchanged, refunded or the price reduced, depending on the specific situation.

It is of course a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect has not arisen as a result of incorrect use of the product or other damaging behaviour.

Any defects or shortcomings in the delivery from Thy Whisky ApS must be claimed within a reasonable time after you have discovered the defect. If you complain within two months after the defect has been discovered, the complaint will always be timely. For goods with a limited shelf life, your right to complain is limited by the shelf life period that Thy Whisky ApS has given you.

Remember to keep the original packaging, as the goods must be returned in the original packaging in the event of a complaint or damage.
