Owning your very own cask of Thy Whisky—whether on your own, with friends, as a club, or for your business—is an exciting way to deepen your passion for whisky and become part of a community of like-minded enthusiasts.
As a cask owner, you can look forward to a whisky adventure filled with exclusive offers and unique experiences at the distillery.
Cask shares or private casks?
CASK SHARES
As a cask shareholder, you own a share of the cask, typically 6 liters.
You attend the cask owners days 4 times during the aging process and receive samples of the cask.
In the end, you'll have at least 8 bottles of whisky and a whole lot of experiences richer.
We fill new cask shares in January and September.
All costs are included except shipping of the finished whisky.

Private casks
Are you part of a group of friends, a company, or a club? Get your very own whisky cask with Thy Whisky. Along the way, you can join our Cask Owner’s Days or host your own event at the distillery, where we’ll guide you on the journey to your own whisky.
You only pay for the cask and its contents upfront. The bottling and taxes are settled when you collect your bottles.
Prices start from 20,500 DKK.

Cask owners events are...
If you own a cask or cask shares, you have access to our exclusive Cask Owners Events.
You'll meet other casks owners, taste your cask's development, and together we'll geek out a little extra with selected samples from casks and bottles.
The Cask Owners Days are held twice a year in Denmark:
2nd Sunday in January
1st Sunday in September
..and during our annual german tour.

CASK SHARES
Start your journey with a 6 liter cask share of whisky. You'll typically get 8 finished bottles when the wait is over.

AN EXPERIENCE OF BEING TOGETHER
As a cask owner, you can look forward to a little 'whisky adventure' filled with experiences here at the distillery.
You are welcome to our cask owners events where you meet many other cask owners, but you can also meet here at the distillery the rest of the year, where we will help you with a sample of your casks and something to taste it against.
