Tasting: Smoke at Tobakshøj

One of the things we value most are the burial mounds on our fields. A place of calm, wind and a remarkable view. This is a whisky tasting we’ve truly been looking forward to.

Together we walk to our nearest burial mound (500 m away), find a spot on the hillside, and settle in to enjoy the quiet with a cup of coffee and a couple of drams of smoked Thy Whisky.

Along the way, you’ll hear the story of this place, reaching back to the very beginning.
