PX & Oloroso

A sweet and smooth single malt matured in PX and oloroso sherry casks for 4-5 years. It has an oily mouthfeel, rich dried fruits, sweetness and earthiness from old Pedro Ximenez casks, a hint of herbs and warming beechwood smoke on the palate.

Certified organic

This whisky is made from 100% organic grain cultivated on our farm Gyrup. Both the farm and the distillery is certified organic to ensure clean drinking water and good animal welfare.

Intense and old sherry casks

Some sherry casks in our warehouse stand out with extra deep sweetness and old, earthy, and complex notes from many years of aging sherry wines in southern Spain. In this release, "PX & Oloroso," we have bottled seven particularly intense PX sherry casks and three extra fruity and vinous oloroso casks.

The 10% beechwood smoke from the casks adds warmth, depth, and body to the whisky, while the smoke remains a subtle hint or sensation in the background.
