For the first time ever, we’re offering cask shares from Moscatel sherry casks.
Moscatel brings a seductive sweetness and soft, velvety mouthfeel to the whisky, with notes of grape sugar, ripe yellow fruits, and warming spices. A unique and vinous contrast to our grain-rich, oily house style.

As a co-owner of a Thy Whisky cask, you join us at the cask filling, follow its development during our Cask Owners’ Days, and after 4–5 years, enjoy the result in the form of your very own bottles of Thy Whisky.

For the first time, we’ve selected Moscatel sherry casks for our Christmas cask shares.

Sherry cask maturation has always been part of our DNA. The oily mouthfeel, the sweet dried fruits and warming spices complement our grain-rich whisky – and enhance the flavour of malt and terroir.

Moscatel is something special. The casks we filled four years ago have given the whisky an elegant sweetness and a velvety mouthfeel with notes of grape sugar, ripe yellow fruits, and a light vinous freshness.

We’ll bottle the first Moscatel-aged whisky for our Christmas tasting on 29 December 2025. And now you have the chance to be part of it – as a co-owner of your very own Moscatel cask.

As a cask owner at Thy Whisky, you’re someone special. It’s about much more than the whisky you buy. During maturation, we invite you to our Cask Owners’ Days. These are gatherings of 200–300 happy friends – sharing good times, geeking out, and tasting the whisky we’re crafting together.

When you buy your share, everything is included. Cask owner events, samples, bottling, taxes and insurance are all part of it. And if you pick up your bottles during a Cask Owners’ Day, we’ll even cover the shipping.

Maturing whisky in sherry casks has always been part of our DNA. But sherry is often associated with dark fortified wines that produce heavy whiskies.

Yet sherry is so much more than that. We’re excited to get to know Moscatel wine more intimately. It’s sweet, but light. Moscatel brings a seductive sweetness and soft mouthfeel to the whisky, with notes of grape sugar, ripe yellow fruits, and warming spices.
