With this cask share, we celebrate the inauguration of our new smoker in our malthouse. This has given us a better opportunity to experiment with smoke than ever before.

Single Estate Beechwood smoke
Over the past few weeks, we've distilled some of the most intense and tasty book-smoked New Make we've ever made.
The rich wood smoke flos out of the glass. Soft fruity aromas lie underneath. A super tasty balance that delivers a clear impression of the archetypal Danish Beech.
Maturing on bourbon casks

Palo Cortado is a rare type of sherry casks in our barrel stock. But the casks we have had for 3-4 years now show very convincing results.

Palo Cortado is a cross between the intensely fruity Oloroso and the light, bright and nutty Fino sherry. You get a little of both, and the sherry imprint on the whisky remains very soft and pleasant even at high intensity.

We think this cask will pair really well with our intense beechwood smoked New Make. And we'd love to try it with you.
