PX Sherry cask

The dish is a 1st fill px quarter cask, which has contained the sweet sherry for typically 20-30 years. The sherry has removed the bitter tannins from the oak tree. Instead, pull the whisky Heat and sweet aromas of dark muscovado sugar and sugar cane, the sensation of old wood and a mouthfeel that really balances nicely with the distillate to create a whisky of high complexity.

Fresh PX casks are active casks, So we expect 5 years of storage to be optimal to achieve a well -balanced whisky and give an intense, sweet and aromatic whisky-experience.

Venue: Stendels

The dish is filled in collaboration with Stendels in Kreuzviertel, Dortmund. We start the journey with a special tasting on November 12, 2022. All events are free for dish owners.
