It revived Langelandsbyg

Langelandsbyg, together with skilled breeders, we have brought back to life after 100 years of hibernation in the Nordic Genbank. The variety tastes amazing and gives a very oiled distillate filled with flavorful esters to our whisky. The 2022 harvest of the Langelandsbyggen has given a fresh, "green" and sweet distillate with notes of lime/citrus, newly cut clover grass, dusty grain And one light malt sweetness.

We have before bottled whisky Made by Langelandsbyg. Among other things Thy Whisky NO 18 - Kornmod, which was included in the book '101 Craft Whiskeys to Try Before You Die'.

Stored on our own Rye casks

Langelandsbyggen we fill on a couple of spell-rye casks of 64 liters. It's 'Other Fill' after spell-rye the whisky. The dishes have recently stored whisky of the barley section Imperial, including the Fade owner Fades 124-2 and 131-2 and Thy Whisky NO 18 - Kornmod, As we tapped in the spring of 2022 after three years.

We expect the dishes over 5 years to give a light Imprint of pepper, fragrant summer apples, vanilla and some oak, which still leaves plenty of room for the taste from the soft Langelandsbyg.
