Stepping into the world of Moscatel

Our first bottling from Moscatel sherry casks marks a small new chapter in our work with the sweeter, grape-forward styles of sherry. The Moscatel imparts a soft, almost creamy texture with notes of grape sugar, yellow stone fruits and a gentle vinous warmth.

The palate is round and malt-rich, carried by our Wish barley, and the finish is sweet and lightly vinous.

CERTIFIED ORGANIC

This whisky is made from 100% organic grain grown on our farm, Gyrup. Both the farm and the distillery are certified organic to ensure clean drinking water and good animal welfare.

Light grapes and Moscatel sherry

Sherry cask maturation has always been part of our DNA, but sherry casks are often associated with dark fortified wines that create heavy whiskies.

But sherry is so much more than that. We are excited to get to know Moscatel in depth. It is sweet, yet bright. Moscatel brings a seductive sweetness and a soft, silky mouthfeel with notes of grape sugar, ripe yellow fruits and warm spices.
