A sweet and smooth single malt matured in PX and oloroso sherry casks for 4–5 years. It offers a rich mouthfeel, deep notes of dried fruits, sweetness and earthy nuances from old Pedro Ximenez casks, and finally a subtle touch of mild, warming beechwood smoke on the palate.

This is our second limited edition bottling of PX & Oloroso, 2025 edition, with slightly higher strength, more age and deeper sweetness than its predecessor.

PX & Oloroso

A sweet and smooth single malt matured in PX and oloroso sherry casks for 4-5 years. It has an oily mouthfeel, rich dried fruits, apple pastry, sweetness and earthiness from old Pedro Ximenez casks, a hint of warming beechwood smoke on the palate.

CERTIFIED ORGANIC

This whisky is made from 100% organic grain grown on our farm, Gyrup. Both the farm and the distillery are certified organic to ensure clean drinking water and good animal welfare.

Intense and old sherry casks

This is our second Limited Edition bottling of PX & Oloroso, 2025 edition.

The whisky is crafted from the sherry casks in our warehouse that stand out with extra deep sweetness and old, earthy, and complex notes from many years of sherry wine maturation in Southern Spain. For this PX & Oloroso release, we selected six particularly intense PX sherry casks and three fruity, vinous oloroso casks.

For the 2025 edition, we bottled at a slightly higher strength of 51.5% vol, added a touch more beechwood smoke to the mix, and let the casks mature for an extra year.

The result is added intensity, more softness, fullness, and caramel sweetness in the whisky, with the smoke leaving a slightly stronger impression.
