6-year-old release for our online tasting

This whisky is released as part of our Limited Editions & Single Casks series. It will be launched in connection with our seventh online tasting on May 9, 2025.

At the same time, it stands out as one of our oldest releases to date—aged 6 to 8 years in patient bourbon casks.

Certified organic

This whisky is made from 100% organic grain cultivated on our farm Gyrup. Both the farm and the distillery is certified organic to ensure clean drinking water and good animal welfare.

Patient bourbon barrels

We source our bourbon casks from Heaven Hill Distillery in Kentucky, USA. These casks contribute a gentle fruity character and sweet vanilla notes to the whisky, without overpowering the grain or the beechwood-smoked malt.

This bottling combines whisky from a 7-year-old quarter cask and a 6-year-old barrel.

Maturing whisky in bourbon casks is a matter of patience—but the wait is rewarded with a beautiful fruity sweetness, as the oak’s tannins slowly oxidize into delicate fruit esters.
